Indians In UK Plans Grand Reception For Narendra Modi

The festival of lights Diwali is being celebrated in United Kindom as the country gears up for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a five-day visit to Britain beginning Thursday (Nov 12). On November 13, Modi will address the Indian diaspora at Wembley Stadium. UK is home to around 1.5 million-strong Indian diaspora, which is around 2 per cent of the UK’s population. A group of artists and performers have personally invited British PM David Cameron for the reception at Wembley.
