India’s new model law to allow shops to open 24hr/7d

A new model law could turn India into a 24 hour-seven day mode that all commercial establishments of the country may stay open at all times of every day.

If so, it will be a big move for the south Asian country, where malls, restaurants, banks and cinemas are always available.

Though the bill still needs agreement from states and unions, it has triggered a debate in the country.
