A new bill being considered in the Indonesian parliament would ban alcohol across the entire country, potentially affecting Indonesia’s billion-dollar tourism and hospitality industries. Last year, Indonesia banned the sale of alcoholic beverages in convenience stores, but alcohol can still be sold in supermarkets, hotels and food outlets.
