Interview: Scotland’s first Minister seeks further cooperation with China

Last year’s historic referendum on whether Scotland should remain in the UK was an extraordinary exercise in democracy. Despite the vote to remain within the UK, in this year’s general election, the Scottish National Party embraced a historic landslide, winning 56 out of Scotland’s 59 seats, wiping out the Labour Party north of the border. In what ways is it reshaping UK politics? And how will all this affect Scotland’s trade and cultural connections with China?
