Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau arrived in China earlier this month in what is his first official visit since taking office last November. He attended the G20 Summit in Hangzhou, and made stops in cities like Beijing and Shanghai meeting government officials. Trudeau is one of the youngest state leaders in the world, and has grabbed headlines with his bold views on issues from feminism to climate change. CCTVNEWS sat down for an exclusive interview with the Prime Minister, who shared his thoughts about the cooperation agreements reached during his trip, the country’s application to join the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), and the future of bilateral relations between Canada and China.
