The World Economic Forum was founded by German economist Klaus Schwab in 1971, and is widely viewed to be the highest-level unofficial meeting on the global economy. We spoke to Schwab on the sidelines of the forum, shortly after Britain voted to leave the European Union. Schwab shared some thoughts on why he believes the “Brexit” to be a rejection of globalization. He also talked about the fourth industrial revolution, and on the future of the World Economic Forum in a changing global environment.
