Today is one year to the day when Malaysian airlines MH17 went down in Ukraine with 298 people aboard. Western media cited a provisional investigation report as blaming a missile and the flag carrier for the tragedy.
Russia has criticized U.S. media for orchestrating a wrongly directed blame on its role in the missile attack.
The Dutch Safety Board is the team leading probe. It recently compiled a report, which pointed to a missile launched from pro-Russian rebel-controlled areas. However the fuselage wreckage indicated the missile, still unclear if it is a surface-to-air or air-to-air one, had failed to make a direct hit.
