Iranian authorities said protesters who attacked the Saudi Embassy in Tehran over the execution of a Shi’ite cleric broke the law and have been arrested. Angry protesters gathered outside the Saudi Embassy in Tehran on Sunday as Iran responded angrily to Saudi Arabia’s execution of Nimr al-Nimr. The demonstrators massed at the embassy gates to protest Nimr’s execution and threw stones and Molotov cocktails that started a fire in the building.
