Iran still closed to US influence despite nuclear deal: Khamenei

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Monday that Iran’s nuclear deal with world powers, if passed, will not open the country to political or economic influence from the US. Since the nuclear agreement was reached last month, Khamenei has not refrained from making decisive statements. Most analysts see the chance of Khamenei rejecting the deal as small, but his deep mistrust of the US is still a concern.
