Iranian nationals “will not attend” this year’s Hajj after Saudi row

Iran has said its nationals will not attend the annual Muslim Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia’s Mecca, after the two Gulf rivals failed to reach a deal on details for this year’s holy event. Iran has blamed Saudi Arabia for sabotage and failing to guarantee the safety of pilgrims, after more than 400 Iranians died in a stampede during last year’s Hajj.
