Iran’s parliamentary runoff elections started on Friday. The result of the vote will decide whether hardliners or more moderate forces backing President Hassan Rouhani will have the upper hand in the legislature. There are still 68 positions to be filled in the 290-seat chamber. In February, a coalition of reformists and allies of Rouhani won a majority in a poll that saw a turnout of 62 percent.
