Iranian party: U.S. interventions source of South China Sea tensions

A mainstream part in Iran has voiced support to China’s stance over the South China Sea issue.

An official with the Islamic Motalefeh Party says the recent U.S. interventions in the southeastern Asia disputes, particularly over South China Sea, have increased dramatically, which is un-constructive and source of tensions among the regional states.

The party also called for dialogues and direct talks to solve the disputes in a statement over the South China Sea disputes.
