The Syrian government’s stockpiles of chemical weapons were mostly destroyed in 2014 after the devastating Ghouta chemical attack, to the east of Damascus. But there have been sporadic claims that chlorine gas weapons have been used since then, and now there are more reports emerging of attacks by ISIL using mustard gas.
