ISIL-controlled areas pose threat to bus drivers

Islamic State has taken control of many areas across Syria over the past two years, and driving through these regions are dangerous. But some bus drivers still risk their lives to cross the Islamic State-controlled areas between Syria and Lebanon. Check-point procedures and occasional firefights along the way can prolong a 6-hour trip up to 20 hours. And bus drivers say many Syrian and Lebanese co-workers have lost their lives on routes connecting the two countries.
