ISIL loses 22 percent of territory since 2015

According to a report by the defense and security information provider IHS Jane’s Intelligence Review, the Islamic State group has lost 22 percent of its territory since January 2015. Experts at IHS said many of the areas lost are major hubs for oil transportation, and their loss will compromise one of the group’s main sources of income.
