Israel court to rule on ex-PM’s bribery case

Israel’s Supreme Court is expected to rule on its former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s appeal against a six-year jail sentence for corruption. Olmert was sentenced last year for accepting 160,000 US dollars in bribes linked to a housing project in Jerusalem while serving as the city’s mayor. It was known as the Holyland case.
