Istanbul works to clean up Bosporus’ waters

Turkey is among one of the countries attending 2015 Paris Climate Conference. Turkey’s greenhouse gas emissions have increased by over 133% since 1990. Now Istanbul is working harder than ever to protect the environment from further damage. In particular, the authorities are focusing on the Bosporus, one of the world’s most important and most polluted sea-straits.
