Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi has said that financial markets should not worry about Sunday’s referendum on constitutional reform, insisting structural reform is necessary for the country. Renzi on Monday said proposed changes to the Constitution would end parliamentary deadlocks and help stimulate Italy’s stunted economy. He has promised to resign if he does not win the referendum.
