Officials say the death toll from the Italian earthquake has climbed to 250. The epicenter of the magnitude 6.2 tremor was near the city of Rieti, around 140 kilometers from the capital, Rome. Several towns in the region have suffered extensive damage, with Amatrice among the worst hit. Rescue work is ongoing to find people still buried under rubble. But a series of aftershocks have hampered operations. CCTV’s Kate Parkinson reports from Amatrice.
