The Japanese government has started reviewing the rules of engagement of its Self-Defense Forces. This comes after controversial security bills were enacted early Saturday. The new legislation on Saturday was pushed through by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s administration. It will enable Japanese troops to fight overseas for the first time since World War Two.
