Japanese PM Abe holds talks with Putin looking to warm ties

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is holding talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday (May 6) at the Black Sea resort of Sochi, in a bid to warm up ties and seek a resolution to a decades-long territorial dispute. However, the Kremlin does not expect any serious progress upon this issue to be achieved in the meeting, said spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Wednesday.
