Japanese PM delivers speech on 70 anniversary of WWII

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has refrained from offering his own apology for Japan’s past atrocities during WWII. In a statement marking the 70th anniversary of the end of the WWII on Friday, Abe mentioned the Japanese government’s previous apology and deep remorse. But he said future generations should not have to keep saying sorry.
