Japanese PM expresses condolences after earthquake

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has expressed his condolences to the victims of the magnitude 6.5 earthquake that struck the southwestern island of Kyushu on Thursday night. The quake killed at least nine people and injured hundreds. Abe said his government would do its utmost to support the victims and make emergency provisions available.
