John Kerry in India for security, economy forum

U-S Secretary of State John Kerry is in India, where he has co-chaired the Indo-US Strategic and Commercial Dialogue with Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj. The dialogue is the main bilateral forum on shared security and economic issues for the two countries. Kerry met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday. Ye Hailin, director of the Center for South Asia Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Science; Lisa Curtis, Senior Research Fellow on South Asia at the Heritage Foundation; and Madhav Nalapat, UNESCO’s Peace Chair and Director of the Geopolitical and International Relations Department at Maniple University, discussed India-US relations.
