John Kerry visits India to boost trade and security ties

US Secretary of State John Kerry is in India for a three-day visit to boost trade and security ties. Kerry met with Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi on Tuesday, and they co-chaired the second India-US Strategic and Commercial Dialogue. Kerry said he wanted progress on an agreement about the construction of nuclear reactors in India. Swaraj said India is looking forward to working closely with the US to secure membership in the UN Security Council. CCTV’s Shweta Bajaj is following Kerry’s trip to India.
