Former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah today suggested holding talks with Pakistan to resolve the issue of cross-border terrorism. He also suggested setting separatists free to involve them in talks as well.
At around 7 pm today, Pakistan-backed terrorists opened fire at a SSB patrol team in Zakura near Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. One jawan was martyred and 8 other jawans have been injured in the attack. This is the sixth terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir in the past 27 days.
When asked about the link between terrorist attack on our soldiers and the stone pelting incidents, Shabnam Lone, Advocate, SC, said, “Kashmir is a very complex valley. India must remove the MFN status granted to Pakistan.”
