Kashmir violence: Tributes paid in India to to soldiers killed by militants

Tributes have been paid by India’s northern Jammu and Kashmir states to the eight Central Reserve Police Force troopers killed in a militant attack on Saturday. The soldiers were killed by Lashkar-e-Taiba militants 15 kilometers from the state capital Srinagar while traveling by bus from a target practice session. 20 other soldiers were wounded in the incident. Two militants were killed by police officers while another two escaped.
