KCNA state media: War’s end can’t be bargaining chip for denuclearization

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) said declaring the end of the 1950-53 Korean War “can never be a bargaining chip” in denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula. In a commentary published on Tuesday, the DPRK’s state media KCNA called formally ending the war “the most basic and primary process” for establishing new DPRK-US relations, and peace on the Korean peninsula.
