Kenya set fire to a huge stockpile of ivory on Saturday to demonstrate its resolve to crack down on poaching and protect African elephants and rhinos. About 105 tons of elephant ivory and 1.35 tons of rhino horn – worth close to 200 million US dollars – were set on fire.
