U.S. President Barack Obama joked Saturday that his visit to Kenya is “somewhat a family reunion”.
But there was a lot more to discuss than Obama’s roots in Africa.
However, the talks were not without some divergence on the issues.
On the gay rights, Obama compared Africa’s rising homophobia to racial discrimination.
But Kenyan Presidient Ujuru Kenyatta replied by saying that gay rights are unacceptable to Kenyans and therefore “a non-issue.”
