Under attack for its entry into Kerala House canteen following complaints of beef being served there, Delhi Police today submitted its report to Ministry of Home Affairs. In its report, the Delhi Police claimed to have acted on a PCR call and rubbished the claims that the police did not have any mandate to enter Kerala House. A political slugfest erupted after Delhi police entered Kerala House cantten on a complaint that it serves “beef” with a miffed Chief Minister Oommen Chandy condemning the “raid” as “highly objectionable” even as buffalo meat was taken off the state-run guest house’s menu.
