Key points of EU-Turkey deal on migrants

The deal between the EU and Turkey is intended to curb the flow of migrants into Europe, in exchange for concessions to Turkey. Under the deal, all new migrants crossing from Turkey into Greece who do not apply for asylum there or see their asylum claims rejected will be sent back, a rule that was implemented from March 20. In return, Turkish nationals should have access to the passport-free Schengen area by June.
