Kiev rally demanding gov’t resignation

In Kiev, about 500 people took to the streets on Tuesday to demand the government to resign over an alleged slow progress in implementing reforms and fighting against corruption.

The protestors gathered at the Independence Square in central Kiev and marched towards the parliament building, where the U.S. Vice President Joe Biden was addressing the lawmakers.

Holding banners reading “Down with the corrupt government!”, “Where is the visa-free regime with the EU?”, “Where is a lustration?” and “Do not steal our money! “, some of the protestors partially blocked the street outside the parliament building to express their anger.
