Largest Giacometti exhibit opens in Shanghai

China’s first-ever exhibition of the Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti is also the largest ever staged. It marks the 50th anniversary of the artist’s death and comes as his works break new records in an auction. One of Giacometti’s works sold for more than 140 million US dollars last year, hitting a world record for a sculpture sold at auction. The retrospective runs at the Yuz Museum with 250 works on display. Take a look at some of Giacometti’s most iconic masterpieces.
