Lawyer Jeffrey Ong who left Singapore after S$33 million of his client’s monies went missing from his firm has been arrested and charged. Police said he was arrested in Malaysia with the help of the Royal Malaysian Police and brought back to Singapore on May 30.

He was subsequently charged in court on Saturday for a cheating offence and is currently remanded for further investigations.
