Lebanese PM holds emergency meeting after Beirut attack

Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam held an emergency meeting with his security cabinet and military chiefs on Friday. The meeting took place as the nation mourned 44 people killed in a double suicide bombing on November 12. The blasts targeted a residential and commercial area in southern Beirut, a stronghold of Shi’ite Muslim group Hezbollah. The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack.
