Art therapy is being used in the Lebanese capital Beirut to help Syrian refugee children get over fears caused by war and killing. Child psychologist Nadine Kanawati is using this method to help these kids face the future positively. She found a Syrian refugee family who suffered physical and psychological trauma from war two years ago, and provided food and clothes to them. Kanawati later tried to teach the kids how to paint, and found it could bring smiles back to their faces.
