Libya’s unity government has called for urgent talks after a rival administration took over the country’s main eastern oil ports. Libyan Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj hopes to discuss a mechanism to enable both parties to put an end to the conflict. The capture of all four oil ports is a huge blow to the UN-backed unity government, as it is heavily dependent on oil revenues.
