London elects first Muslim mayor

London voters have elected their first Muslim mayor. 46-year-old Sadiq Khan, the son of an immigrant bus driver, is the first practicing Muslim to be elected mayor in any major European capital. The vote was among many elections, in which millions across Britain voted for local town halls, the Scottish Parliament, as well as for a new leader for London. CCTV’s Richard Bestic reports on what the voting patterns say about Britain’s current political profile.
