London tube stabbing probed as “terror incident”

In Britain, police are investigating a stabbing incident at an underground station in east London.

Three were injured in a knife attack at the Leytonstone underground tube station in London on Saturday.

One man was seriously injured and two sustained minor injuries.

The stabbing is being probed as a “terrorist incident”, with police urging the public to remain calm, but alert and vigilant.

One male suspect has been detained.

Several stops of the Central Line, which runs across the capital, was shut down.

The attack came after the British parliament approved air strikes on the Islamic State militants in Syria.
