Low Water Level Shuts Down Farakka Power Plant In West Bengal

Unprecedented dip in the water level of Farakka Feder Canal has forced the country’s largest power plant producer NTPC to shut down Farakka Super Thermal Power Station’s five units of Stage 1 and 2 of its 2100 MW generating facility at Farakka in Murshidabad District of West Bengal.
