M6.7 quake kills one in NW China’s Xinjiang , emergency response activated

One person has been killed after a M6.7 earthquake jolted northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. According to the China Earthquake Networks Center, the quake hit Akto county in Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture on Friday night, at a depth of 10 kilometers. An emergency response has been activated, and a working team has been sent to the quake-hit area.
