A magnitude-5.7 earthquake has struck northern Tanzania, killing at least 13 people and leaving 203 injured. The quake rattled the entire northwestern province of Kagera, and caused significant damage to buildings in its capital Bukoba. With rescue work underway, AFP reports the regional hospital is overwhelmed and struggling to handle any more patients. However, the Bukoba district commissioner says the situation is under control, and no further injuries are expected.
