Mali hotel attack leaves 27 dead, including 3 Chinese

At least 27 people have been killed in the Radisson Blu Hotel attack in Mali’s capital Bamako on Friday, said an unnamed UN official. The Chinese embassy in Mali has confirmed that 3 Chinese citizens were among the victims. Islamist group Al Mourabitoun has reportedly claimed joint responsibility with al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb for Friday’s hotel attack in Mali. Mali’s government has declared a 10-day emergency and 3 days of mourning for the victims.
