McGurk: ISIL on defensive, losing ground

US President Barack Obama’s Special Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL says the militant group is losing ground and is very much on the defensive. Brett McGurk told a news conference in Amman on Sunday that Islamic State has not gained significant ground since it took the Iraqi city of Ramadi – which it has now lost – a year ago.
