Medvedev says Russia, West sliding into new cold war

At the Munich security conference, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev warned that relations between Russia and the West had become so strained, they may be in a new “Cold War”, as he cited NATO’s frosty manner towards his country. Their differing stances on how to resolve the Syria conflict, as well as the recent crisis in Ukraine, have undermined relations.
