Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal speaking on the terror attack in Punjab said that since militancy is a national problem, it needs to be tackled with national policies. “Militancy is a national problem, not a state problem and therefore national policy is needed to tackle terrorism.” “Terrorists didn’t come from Punjab, they came from the border. Their (MHA) job is to seal the border. If there was input why wasnt the border shielded?,” questioned Badal. “We will sit together, will hold a meeting with everyone after we take stock of the situation,” he added. Terrorists today attacked on a bus and a police station in Dinanagar district in Gurdaspur, Punjab and reportedly six people are dead, including three policemen and ten others have been injured.
