Army on Monday (July 13) foiled an infiltration bid and killed a militant along the LoC in Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir. A group of militants tried to infiltrate into Indian territory along the LoC in Balnoie area of Poonch district early this morning, a Defence Spokesman said. Troops guarding the LoC challenged them resulting in an encounter in which one militant was killed, he said. Further details are awaited.
