Monkey King appears on train to amuse passengers

Passengers onboard a train to central China’s Hubei Province had the Monkey King for company. He had everyone in high spirits during the long journey home for the New Year and held a board which said, “Smile to the 81 Sufferings in Spring Festival Travel Rush.” The allusion of “81 sufferings” comes from a Chinese novel, one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. According to the novel, the main character Monk Tang finally got the real Buddhist scripture after 81 sufferings.
