More countries ban Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones on airplanes

Japan, Australia and New Zealand are now banning Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones on airplanes, because of perceived fire risks. Almost all of China’s airlines have already barred it, as is the case in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. In Europe, Air Berlin, Lufthansa and Finnair also prohibited carrying the device as well as shipping it as cargo.
